Working with numbers improves concentration, problem solving skills, memory, concentration and clarity of thought in general. And it's not great news for Players young and old! Video and computer games are rich with numbers! I've done some research to hone in on the games that use mathematics more measure.

Computer games are generally less expensive and a bit more versatile. Are common audiences wanted something younger. When younger, I referring to children of school age. is that a large portion of video game users are adult males! So I'll start with a review of a couple of math focused computer games that I think are of good quality. Math Munchers Deluxe by The Learning Company reinforces math skills for the development of the solution problems through gaming in areas of whole numbers, decimals, factors and simple geometry. Mighty Math by Edmark teaches geometry concepts using math and problem solving skills and problems. Students explore attributes of shapes and solids, constructions and transformations, the coordinates 2D and 3D, and the relationships between length, perimeter, area and volume. Teaching Pro: Middle and High School Math by Mathsoft has comprehensive coverage for ensure students learn mathematical concepts and understand how mathematics is used in the real world. The program includes a focus on basic math, pre-algebra, Algebra, Algebra II, Geometry, and Trigonometry. It meets mandated curriculum standards in all states!

There are many mathematical focused games available online. Suduko revolves around trying to fill a grid so that each line contains the numbers 1 to 9 only once. This game is a known addictive brain teaser. It's a great game to increase math skills and is freely available on numerous websites and downloadable for your cell phone! Timez Attack is real video game created by the same engineers who have worked on Play Station games. The goal of the game is the way through the maze prison and leaves those who stand in his way. You will develop their math skills while defeating a series of challenging obstacles and characters. Version basic online game is free at large. The full length version is also available.

Nintendo offers a game called Math Play for the DS. This game encourages the player to create equations in four different game modules by presenting numbered cards. There are a variety of difficulty levels. Also no competitive multiplayer action and addictive puzzle game.

Donkey Kong Jr. Math has received mixed reviews. By mixed I mean not so great. It one of the only math specific games however, that my search came to GameCube or Wii. When it comes to game consoles such as PS2, Gamecube or Wii I would choose puzzle games which are more abundant and tend to require math skills.

Working with numbers keeps many of our skills acute problems such as problem solving and improves general clarity of thought. Clean Clear

Cleaning out the clutter seems such a thankless task, but gee, it feels so good once the job is done! It is not necessarily a dirty job but it is one that makes you feel so much more in control of a cleaned house. You even feel better when you have completed a good cupboard cleanout.

Think of those 'hidy-hole' places around the house where items of clothing, sporting equipment, cooking equipment, gardening equipment, hobby stuff and all sorts of other bits and pieces that you are never likely to use again, are hiding. Why not get stuck in to them and throw out what you don't want any more?

Clean the cupboard - clear the mind.

You know there is something in that. If we have unused and unwanted items sitting around the house it subconsciously plays on our mind. How many times have you looked at a cupboard with the thought of cleaning it out but instead have given a big sigh and walked on by because the job just seems overwhelming?

Time for a spring clear out!

No, this is not a spring clean, but a clean out! Open up those cupboards and closets and get rid of anything that you have not used for a while: two years for clothing, three years for sporting equipment.

Even trip down those stairs into the basement or up into the attic, wherever it is that you hide things and go through the area and be a little ruthless. It will feel so good to get rid of those items you know in your heart that you are never going to use again. You never know you might even come across some things that you would really like to keep. Things that you had even forgotten that you owned.

Mementos are meant to be kept and they really do have a different depth of meaning than our everyday items. If you have mementos then maybe it would be best to have a proper container to keep them in. It is no good storing them away only to find out 8 years later that they have all gone moldy. Use a good plastic container with a lid and store them safely.

Storage containers.

Before starting out on this mammoth task have a look around and purchase some storage boxes that will store your items properly without them getting damaged. This way at least once you have decided to keep something, it won't get ruined. Find some nice perfume sachets, or even make your own herb sachets to put in the storage containers.

Getting rid of all that mess and clutter really is such an empowering feeling. You will thoroughly enjoy binning those items that you don't want to keep any more. Once the cupboards are cleaned out, enthuse the family to clean out the clutter in their rooms too and encourage them to keep the rooms clean (well, nearly) all the time,

its not true for proactive or anything else...that kind of stuff does not cause acne

Filter Element

4. Reverse Osmosis

Originally developed to process water in submarines, the reverse osmosis process basically draws water through an extremely fine membrane. The membrane acts like an extremely fine filter to create drinkable water from salty (or otherwise contaminated) water. The contaminated water is put on one side of the membrane and pressure is applied to stop, and then reverse, the osmotic process. It generally takes a lot of pressure and is fairly slow, but it works. The result is extremely finely filtered drinking water

5. Ultra Violet Radiation Systems

UV systems use high frequency light to irradiate water through a glass element. Water passing the element is exposed to the light, which kills all living organisms.

what is a braun coffee filter made of?

i have a braun coffee filter which i use to remove traces of salt water from brine shrimp (which i feed my hydra with). i know already that copper or any other metallic element has a negative effect on hydra and various other metazoan creatures, and it recently came to my attention that my filter might be made of copper. for any lovers of braun coffee, do you know if the company uses copper to make their filters? note: the filter is a gloden brownish color, very resemblant of copper. thanx for any help!
